Reference PhotosSketchesWe were asked to post reference photos and sketches. I have decided to go with the Terminator idea. The sketches were fairly easy to draw, and I didn't have too much trouble finding photos of the Terminator's endoskeleton. I think the first Terminator photo was the best for these sketches, as it gave me a clear view of the details. I prefer the second sketch over the first.

1. Face with some parts missing and revealing Terminator endoskeleton.
2. Photo Negative filter. 3. Partially disintegrating face. 4. Slightly drooping face. 5. Stretched face. 6. Ripped up picture of face. 7. City on head. 8. Glare filter. 9. Compressed face. 10. Face separated into four, each with different expressions. 11. Face zipped open. 12. Face opened revealing more faces, like a matryoshka doll. 13. Face colored with only warm or cool colors. 14. Face but the hair is made of lightning bolts. 15. My face distorted by broken glass. We had to come up with fifteen ideas for our self portrait project. This is what I have come up with. Ideas 1,2,11,13, and 14 are my favorite ones. Some of them were easy to come up with, but I some trouble. I think these ideas will work well for this project. This is the completed drawing of my facial features. We were not required to add hair. I also decided to include little bits of facial hair and acne to add more detail. I think it looks good, but some of the values are not blended in the best way. I also think I made the space between my mouth and chin a little too long. I think the other values and proportions were done well.
This is my in progress drawing of my face. For this assignment, we have to draw our facial features based on what we've learned and practiced. I think this is going fine for now. I based the proportions based on what we practiced yesterday, and how my nose, mouth, and eyes are positioned in the photo. I didn't have too much trouble on this yet.
